Matt’s appointment marks a landmark moment for North East Escapes and underlines our long-term commitment to operational excellence.
Matt joins us with an outstanding track record in the holiday lettings sector. He previously led Norfolk Cottages, the flagship brand within the Original Cottages group, overseeing a portfolio of more than 700 properties, and more recently held a director role at Cottages.com, supporting large-scale growth and operational performance across the industry. His experience, leadership, and deep understanding of how to scale without losing service quality make him a perfect fit for where North East Escapes is heading next.
In his role as Operations Director, Matt will focus on strengthening systems, refining processes, and ensuring consistency across every touchpoint, from owner onboarding and property standards to guest experience and operational delivery. His appointment ensures that as we grow, our foundations only get stronger.
